Daniel Namyst |
Mr. Daniel Namyst is a Lecturer in the Bio-Resource and Agricultural Engineering Department. An alumnus of the Cal Poly SLO Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences department as an Environmental Management and Protection major (2019), he strives to maintain the learn by doing mantra in each of his class sections. Mr. Namyst earned his masters in Survey Engineering from the University of Maine, specializing in drone applications for land surveying. In addition, Mr. Namyst is a Licensed Land Surveyor in California (California Land Surveying License LS 9831).
In addition to instructing at Cal Poly, Mr. Namyst is actively working in the private sector on several high-profile subdivisions while assisting the private sector in various residential, commercial and winery projects. His main specialization within the industry is complex boundary resolutions. Mr. Namyst has completed several large-scale projects including assisting the Peninsula Open Space Trust to protect over 850 acres of open space.
