Pete Herder is a full-time lecturer in the Bio Resource and Agricultural Engineering department. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Masters in Business Administration emphasis on Finance and Strategy. His undergraduate degrees include a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and a B.S. in Aeronautics from Parks College of St. Louis University. Executive courses were taken at University of Chicago in Innovation. Professional Civil Engineering experience includes Airport De-icing Glycol recovery systems to transportation. Mechanical and Industrial experience includes steel castings for rail car components, plant start-up and asset re-allocation, Tier 1 automotive component manufacturing, and hydraulic systems for power plant generation to precision GPS guided hydraulic systems on agricultural and construction equipment. Recent projects include project management for Off-Road Electric Vehicles and construction equipment.
