MS Requirements

For students who do not have an Engineering BS

The following is a list of classes required of students who do not have a BS from an ABET-accredited program in Agricultural or Civil or Environmental Engineering.   For advisor information and other forms, please click here.

CE 206 & 207 Strength of Materials & Lab 4

EE 201 and EE 205 Electrical Circuit Theory; or BRAE 328 Measurements and Computer Interfacing  4
BRAE 433 Reinforced Concrete Design 4
Plus, all students must have taken these classes or equivalents:
BRAE 237 or 239 Engineering Surveying I 2
BRAE 340 Introduction to Agricultural Engineering 4
CHEM 212 Organic Chemistry 5
BRAE 151 AutoCAD 2
Programming in Basic, Fortan, and/or C 3

***These classes have engineering math and physics pre-requisites. 

Student must have had 1 year of engineering Calculus and engineering Physics.  All students must successfully pass the EIT exam prior to receiving the MS in Engineering.
