Open House
This past weekend was Open House. It's an exciting time for Cal Poly, with visits from potential students to eating all the food you possibly can at the club showcase. Unfortunately, the classic Cal Poly Tractor Pull did not occur. There were some electrical difficulties that prevented the Pull from happening.
Aside from the Tractor Pull, the club showcase was infectious as always. I hope everybody roamed the aisles looking for delicious treats and fun games to play. And that everybody bought some good, old fashioned tri-tip from the Ag Frat, Alpha Gamma Rho.
AES End of the Year Banquet
If you have facebook and are a "fan" of the Brock Brae page (if not, you can click on the link to the left and instantly like the page), then you got the invite for the End of the Year Banquet, which is on Saturday May 12th at 6 pm at the Madonna Inn. This annual banquet is thrown to give out awards, scholarships, to announce the new AES officers, and to have a good time.
Tickets are now on sale in building 8 in Kathy Daniels' office. Tickets are $20 for students and $30 for non-students. The entree options are a steak, chicken, or vegetarian. Get your tickets soon so you can enjoy the festivities to come!
Speaking of Scholarships...
ATTENTION ALL BRAE AND ASM STUDENTS: Scholarship appllications are due April 20th. So be sure to fill those out.
